Seth R. Sulkin is President and CEO of Pacifica Capital K.K., a Tokyo-based developer and operator of hotels and commercial properties with more than 25 years of real estate investment experience in Japan. In November 2017, he opened the Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho, the first lifestyle hotel in Japan. He is currently developing several other hotels throughout Japan and is growing his third-party management platform, Pacifica Hotels GK. In October 2020, Mr. Sulkin launched Food-e, Japan’s first delivery app specializing in gourmet restaurants. With this new business, he has begun to shake up the food delivery business by changing the business model in many key ways.

Mr. Sulkin is a member of the Executive Committee of ULI Japan, chair of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan’s Integrated Resort Task Force and co-chair of the Real Estate Committee. Fluent in Japanese, he received a master’s degree from Stanford University’s Center for East Asian Studies and attended the Inter-University Center for Japanese Language Studies.
