Er. Poh Seng Tiok is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineer (ICE, UK), a registered Professional Engineer in Singapore and an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer. He has more than 20 years’ experience in large scale mass transit, railway design and construction projects in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and other parts of Asia.
Seng Tiok is an established leader in the Rail and Transit industry in Asia, having assumed key senior positions in both major client and international consultancy organisations. Currently, he is AECOM’s Head of Rail and Transit for Asia, providing the leadership for the firm’s Rail and Transit sector in Asia as well as leading the SEA Transportation business.
Prior to joining AECOM, he was the Planning and Design Director for Mass Rapid Transit Corporation (MRTC) in Malaysia, leading the planning and design of more than 100 km of MRT in the Klang Valley. Seng Tiok had earlier held senior positions in international consultancy firms involving in major metro projects such as Thomson Line in Singapore and Shatin Central Link in Hong Kong etc. He started his career at the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) and was involved in numerous major railway projects in Singapore such as North East Line, Circle Line, Downtown Line Stage 1.
