Scott Dunn is Vice President for Southeast Asia at AECOM (NYSE: ACM), a $19-billion global provider of professional technical and management support services. AECOM’s 85,000 employees – including architects, engineers, designers, planners, scientists and management and construction services professionals – serving clients in more than 150 countries around the world.  Scott is also a Global Governing Trustee of Urban Land Institute, and part of the Urban Land Institute Singapore Council, past founding Chairman and current co-Chair.

Scott drives strategic growth for Southeast Asia to advance the regional growth agenda of AECOM’s APAC Executive Leadership Team through identification, development and support of strategic initiatives that drive profitable growth for AECOM in Southeast Asia. Core business areas include Design Consulting services in Buildings & Places, Civil & Infrastructure, Oil Gas Chemical Industrial & Power and Environmental, Constructing and Management Services.

Scott also leads cross-functional teams in providing integrated services and sustainable solutions for large, complex and multidisciplinary projects across Asia, among them high-density masterplans for new towns and regeneration of existing urban landscapes that have drawn on sustainable and smart themes.

He is an advocate of sustainable land development and high dense urban environmental design and believes that in order to create great places, one should be both sensitive to the environment and responsible for the society. His books and papers on urban mobility, sustainability and livability issues are frequently published with local and international print media and he is highly regarded as a thought leader in the planning community. He actively lectures on land development and has given speeches at conferences and events throughout Asia and North America.

For Urban Land Institute he has co-authored four publications with the Singapore Center of Liveable Cities; 10 Principles for Liveable High-Density Cities Lessons from Singapore (2012) and Creating Healthy Places through Active Mobility(2014), Creating Liveable Cities Through Car-Lite Urban Mobility(2016), Urban Mobility: 10 Cities Leading the Way in Asia-Pacific (2017).
